Sacred in the City
Public Lecture Sacred in the CitySeptember 18 2020
For those wishing to find God amidst the hustle & bustle of city life.
Where and how might you find God in a busy urban landscape like Singapore’s? Uncover the shimmer of the sacred in the familiar places of everyday city living – the places where you live, work and gather. How might you notice and engage in God’s transforming presence in places where you might least expect to find it? In the words of Margaret Silf, “The sacred is all around us, all the time … But it is our own lives that make this holiness incarnate, and make our places of living and working sacred, and therefore life-giving to all.”
