About this course
The purpose of this introductory course is to equip heralds to preach expository sermons. We will do so by following Haddon Robinson’s 10-steps of preparing an expository sermon. In addition, we will sharpen our presentational skills (delivery), with attention given to the strategic use of rhetorical argumentation, manuscripting
(style and clarity) and finally, the preaching of one sermon from the NT epistle. Knowledge of how to study and interpret the bible is mandatory.

Pre-requisite:
Completed HE101 or its equivalent.
Lecturer : Desmond Soh
Rev Dr Desmond Soh is the Pastor of Bethany Evangelical Free Church. Until recently, he was the Associate Professor of Homiletics and Intercultural Studies and the Senior Director for Strategic Development at Singapore Bible College.
