CE227 : Building Small Discipleship Groups that Work (1.5 Credit)
Academic Year : 2020-2021
About this course
Discipleship involves Christians, as followers of Christ, growing in Word intake, prayerfulness, fellowship and reaching out to others (evangelism) so that they might reproduce other disciples. However, in practice, we often have an incomplete and ill-perceived understanding of this process of disciple- making.
In this course, students will learn to identify issues that may hinder the effective building of small discipleship groups and also how to address adequately these issues in order to implement small discipleship groups effectively.
By the end of this module, participants will be able to
- Identify specifically at least 3 issues that hinder the effective building of small discipleship groups
- Address adequately these issues to implement small discipleship groups effectively
