About 3,000 years old Oil Lamp
This lamp comes from the time of King David, about 3,000 years ago. It
has a spout that is pinched and pressed down slightly and shows heavy traces
of soot. The rim is pronounced and bent outward. It slopes downward to
a deep base which is unevenly rounded. The finish is buff, firm and the
condition is excellent.
It comes out from Judah and is a continuation of the Canaanite lamp.
