This lamp came from the period of when the Israelites were wandering in
the wilderness of Sinai. It is about 3,400 years old. The shape of the
bowl has become deeper and there is a more pronounced pinch. The spout
has traces of soot and the bottom is uneven and unsteady. The rim is slightly
chipped.
