About 3,800 years old.

This lamp come from Abraham's time and is about 3,800 years old. The pottery ware of this period was creative and such a lamp would have existed side by side with the four-spouted variety, which soon went out of fashion. It is red-burnished and has a slightly pinched snout, with a rough but sturdy external finish. There are some traces of soot.
The simplicity of the design gives it a special beauty.
