Side view Top view A dipper juglet, burnished, with globular body rising to a small vertical neck, levelled off at the ridge. The handles are attached to the rim and end on the shoulder of the vessel. The bottom half ends in a small flat disc which has been cut off with a thread. The inside contains rattling objects. The identification is somewhat problematical, but it may be from Iron I B. Ref: Amiran, p.255, no.9 (same form but without the metope decoration). Origin: Possibility Hebron? |
