Dr. Lai Pak Wah just completed his PhD with Durham University, where he specialized in Christianity in Late Antiquity, that is, the history, theology and spirituality of the 2nd - 5th century church fathers (also known as Patristic Studies). Apart from Patristic Studies, Pak Wah is also interested in the relationship between theology and other fields of studies, such as Science, Technology and Chinese Culture. These themes are being explored in a BGST Church Based Lay Training Course that he also offers, Evangelism in a Multi-Cultural Context. Prior to his studies at Durham, Pak Wah studied for the Dip CS at BGST, before completing his MCS and Th.M (Theology) at Regent College. Previously, Pak Wah was a full-time lecturer at the School of Business, Singapore Polytechnic, where he taught supply chain management and other business courses to both full and part time diploma students, and engaged in investment promotion work with the Singapore Economic Development Board.
