Graduate Diploma in Christian Studies (Grad Dip CS)
The Grad Dip CS is basic to all course work at BGST. It is intended to prepare lay persons
for a more effective role in their church. It is designed for those who desire to be better
equipped for lay ministry as well as those who wish to deepen their understanding of the
Bible and a range of sub-disciplines within a comprehensive lay theological school
programme. It is also suitable for the training of parachurch workers and for professionals
who wish to gain a biblical perspective on their professions.
The Grad Dip CS also acts as the foundation for Master’s courses at BGST. Master’s
students will normally complete the Grad Dip CS as a first stage of their studies.
The Grad Dip CS is a 30-credit programme. It can be completed as a one-year full-time
programme or on a part-time basis.
